Today is June 15, I just sent out my second round of newsletters for the month. It reveals a new cover that I designed using Pixabay. I love that site because there are so many pictures that a person can use for personal or even professional use. Sometimes, the pictures need to be altered which I do so they work for the covers. Most artists use stock for their covers for their books so it's no different. The alternative is hiring models and who's got the money for that? I have redone several of my books. Peterson Estate series has many things in common. See for yourself.

The 5th book will be released on July 1. I will reveal the cover for it tomorrow.

I am still writing Stolen which is Book 1 for the Identity Collection. It is a collection of stories based on identities. That's why it's not really a series. They don't really go together, they are each a stand-alone story so they can be read out of order, or could just read one or two. It's up to you. Once this book is finally finished, I'll do the official cover reveal. If you've been reading my newsletters, you've already seen it though. I didn't design the cover, a good friend of mine did so she could teach me how to design covers. The Peterson Estate series is a result of that learning so hopefully, I nailed it lol.

I plan on editing Stolen once it is finished. Meanwhile, I'll begin writing Fairytale's Truth. It was inspired by my granddaughter and daughter (her aunt). Most of it will be using special personalities that my granddaughter has. She reminded me how precious an imagination truly is and hopefully, I will do her justice. A little about this story. Long before you and I were born, creatures walked alongside the humans. They were part of each other's daily lives. But a war broke loose between the humans and the creatures. A treaty was placed, stopping the creatures from living in the open so they ended up becoming stories we tell our children before going to sleep. Well, one day a child meets a gnome and they become friends. This gnome tells her the story of the war and how they became to be. She sets out to break the treaty and opens the world back up to them. The magic in her heart is all they need.....

That's all I have for now.

So that's my update. Back to work I go lol

  Link to Website I have many new changes to report. I have fully updated my website. The link is above. This is a screenshot of the top of the homepage. The top section will be changed when I am closer to releasing each new book when I have pre-orders available. So that's pretty cool. I have added a few new things to the site. I decided to check out other authors' pages and was inspired by one of my favorite authors, Stephen King. Of course, I don't have nearly as many books as he does so my pages are different but the ideas for design and some of the information were inspired by what was on his site. For instance, I now have FAQ information on my site. I will be adding to it as time permits. It can be found on the "about" page.
