Excerpt so far....      Emily elevated, floating through the ceiling. She had to follow the boundary of the Down Under so she could see if there was a weak spot. If she could find one, that would be her way in. She knew it. If she couldn’t walk through those gates, she was going to tear through a wall. Since she knew he had found the opening to the Vortex, she knew it wouldn’t take him long to figure out how to open it so she was running out of time and she knew it.      She inspected every angle she could find, every crack and every rock was checked twice. I'm not just a writer, in case you haven't noticed. One of the pastimes that keeps me busy is crocheting. I don't normally make blankets but I wanted to make each of my grandchildren one to have. One when they are born and one when they get older for their beds. This one is just a part of one I'm making for Emily who is due in May. She's my fourth grandchild. Once I found out the gender, I bought the yarn for it. I am trying something new for her. I made one block, then joining it to another block in the same pattern. This is as far as I've gotten so far but there are 4 blocks total to represent 4 grandchildren. I'll be taking another picture once it's all done and include it for one of my newsletters. I do that from time-to-time lol. I enjoy making clothes and will be getting back to doing that eventually lol. Right now, I'm just enjoying doing the "grandma" thing. Or should I say, "Nana" as I'm called! Grandchild

The way I see it is that I'll never get bored which I don't lol. So what's my point with this blog? I wanted to share who I am in a nutshell. Show you why I'm the perfect author for the books I write.  First of all, I know I'm weird. It does not run in my family but neither does being left-handed so that's all good. You may not know this but I was bullied growing up. I was alone. And I did attempt suici
