One Week In.........

So I am just sitting here and I can't believe a week has already come and gone. I feel like yesterday, I was watching the ball drop and getting my midnight kiss. Okay, I actually got the kiss at 11:30 because someone fell asleep lol. Seriously, he couldn't stay awake any longer. Guess some people just can't do it. It's okay. There's always next year and the year after that. Hopefully lol.

So have I kept my New Year's Resolutions so far? I really think it's too early to tell but yes, so far I have. I am using Google Calendar to write down all my plans and have been keeping them. I am trying to keep in good practice. I scheduled my edits which have been working! I actually was able to get them done faster than I had expected and that's a good thing. So now I can wait for someone to take a quick read over it and see if my changes made a difference. Then I will be formatting the book and waiting for its release so the time is getting closer! I am so excited!! Are you?

I've recorded my first podcast of the year. I actually was able to get my husband to contribute to it and that was fun. It really began as an accident, he scared the crap out of me when he hollered but I liked the idea of it so I redid the recording and asked him to do it again. He obliged, of course. I had originally wanted my granddaughter to do a session with me but how do you plan a 3-year-old on these things? You can't control what they're going to say so I decided not to do that. Yet. Maybe, one day, in the future but not right now.

So as I play the waiting game, I am going to keep on networking on Facebook and Instagram. Maybe you and I can become friends. That would be nice. So just in case we do, my name is Amber. I am 43 years old and a grandmother of 2. At least right now. I have 2 more grandchildren heading this way this year! One is due next month! I am super excited about that. And another one coming in May. So until then, keep smiling and remember dreams really do come true!
