Blue Christmas

 

This candle is in respect of all of the firefighters who risk their lives to put out the fires. So, I thank all of those who do what they must to take down those flames. My hand's up to you, my friends. Thank you.

This time of year is the busiest for firefighters. One candle left unattended can cost someone their home. I pray that you aren't one of them. Please keep an eye on your candles and other fire-starting items in your home. Heaters is another one. Yes, the new ones are set to shut off when tipped over but don't depend on that to work. If you're leaving, shut them off. If you're going to bed, shut them off. Blow out the candles.

Show your thanks and gratitude toward firefighters in your area. Tell them you appreciate them. Say thank you, at least. Let them know you care. You can also show them by using social media. Use the hashtag bluechristmas in your posts. I'm doing it here. #bluechristmas as well.
