Hello! Happy Day to you!!
Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah! I looked at the calendar and today Hanukkah begins. Anyone here, celebrate Hanukkah? Well, happy day to you! So today, you light a candle. Can you go into what other things you do for this holiday? The reasoning behind it, for you? I'm all about learning so teach me, dear friend. I've only celebrated Christmas so I really don't know the differences other than the candles. And it would be cool to know, coming directly from someone who celebrates it.
I am still waiting to hear back from my Beta Readers. The suspense is killing me lol. One said she's loving the story so at least I have that. I have been given a few suggestions from them so far but I think I should wait until I hear all of them before making any real changes. And I decided to finish Fairytale's Truth's edits before I begin editing Peterson Estate 6. I'm a few months ahead of schedule so waiting isn't going to hurt anything. I'll still have plenty of time to do that plus write the two books next year that I want to write. Getting Peterson Estate 6 written this year really made a difference for me so I'm very excited about all my plans for 2021. No resolutions this year. I'm just going to put one foot in front of the other and do my best.
My website has been updated if you haven't visited it in a while. There are more reviews to share which were posted on the Reviews page so take a look at them! I am super excited about those. Did you know if you get 50 reviews for one book, Amazon adds the book to their newsletters? Yeah, that gives a writer more exposure which is totally awesome. That means I need a lot more reviews but each one gets me closer so I'm very happy. If you read any of my books, please let others know what you think--good or bad. And you don't have to say much; it's not the length of the review that matters, it's the quantity of them. https://argrosjeanauthor.wixsite.com/home
This post is going to be short lol. I can't think of anything else I wanted to share. My brain went blank for a moment. Maybe it's the time of night. Who knows? So thank you for taking the time to read this. Please comment and share below. I'll see you next time!
I celebrate Hanukkah. Today I'm taking my sixteen year old son to light the first candle with Leah, a 96 year old woman I've been visiting for the last year. There I will meet for the first time her son and her daughter-in-law. Later I'll light a candle with my family. I guess in that sense it's a lot like Christmas you meet family and friends, but we get eight days to do that so you can celebrate with different ones every day.
ReplyDeleteThat's cool. So the lighting of the candle really is just about sharing a moment with someone you love, embracing the day. In that sense, it's really nice. Thank you!
