Learning to Schedule.......

One of the benefits of having a cell phone, you're able to use a built-in calendar to schedule your day and events that are important. The phone sends out alerts so you don't forget. I so love that feature lol. Anyway, I didn't put in all of my "appointments" for myself because I am trying to put this to practice. When you're not used to doing something like this, it takes time but you have to teach yourself to do it and keep it up. But this is somewhat, what my month of January looks like.

I have several days a week where I am editing, and that's it. That way I can devote my time to my work. Once I begin writing again, it will be like that only for writing instead of editing. I think I will be editing as well. That way when it comes to the final edits, it won't be as hard. I'm just thinking out loud here, don't mind me lol. Anyway. I do a lot of networking now so I didn't put that on the calendar because that's an all-day thing lol. I usually pull an all-nighter as well about once a week so I was trying to keep that on the same night of the week to make it routine. That's devoted to any writing things I have to do like post planning for Facebook and Instagram. I create my posts and use the app to schedule them so I can have a couple weeks of posting and not have to worry about them. I am not a morning person so by having them scheduled, they can be posted while I sleep. I don't have to worry about forgetting them, that way. I'm so happy someone told me about them! The great thing about them is that they are good for other careers too, not just writers/authors. So you can take advantage of that as well.

So that's what I've got so far. I know I'm probably sounding a little goofy posting in the blog like this but I am trying to get on a regular schedule posting on here so even if it's something not important, at least I'm showing up and that's important. You are important to me. So if there's nothing to really talk about, I'll come up with something lol. Using my imagination lol. Be creative is what I do.
